Question:

Concerning the process verification, Is there any other way to verify the designed process than the PHASE 4 of APQP( QS-9000 or someone could verify the designed process with a process AUDIT?
In the first case, where we need to do a Process Audit according QS-9000.

Second, the designed process when is aproved? when the part is approved by the customer or any other way is avaible?

Process verification is typically done prior to start of production. I guess you could use a process audit as part of verification, but typically verification is running the part and then checking to see if the part is being made correctly and to print. Typically an engineering function (such as a manufacturing engineer or team) does this as part of their responsibilities. You can only verify your process after it is designed and ready to run and you have to do it prior to start of production. I don't know when else you could do it.

Whether or not you need a customer approval depends upon your customer and their specific requirements. Typically you validate your process and the proof is in the PPAP package, but many customers do require a signoff.

I suggest you take a read through https://Elsmar.com/APQP/ for some general info.

Thank you vey much,

I have already got the APQP guide, and I think it´s clear and verifying the file I think I could start with the solution.

Thank you
