Product Audits - Does anyone have a better way?

We are looking for a better way of conducting our Product Audits. We have recently achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification but are finding that our current method of conducting Product Audits (Dock Audits) is not efficient. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We are going to "piggy back" product and process audits. This is if it flies with our registar. Corporate is working out the details.

I would be interested to know if you're able to sell this to the auditors, it would certainly make the whole process easier to manage.

We are almost certain it will. Keep in mind, this is how YOU do business. If it works for you what can they say. Keeping in mind we are still "protecting" the customer. I'll keep you informed.
