PSW (Part sample Warrant) - Restricted or reportable substances

As part of the PSW there's a question "Does this part contain any restricted or reportable substances?"
Can anyone please guide me as to where i can get a list of these "restricted or reportable substances"?

Check the EPA website or your state "Department of quality" website or the OSHA website.

Things like air bags - explosive charge and the 'main' (sodium azide) charge. These are 'reportable', for example, as I understand it.

For Ford reference WSS-M99P9999-A1. This specification is revised annually (February).

You may obtain this through quarterly subscriptions to Ford Material Standards. I do not know specifically how to order the standards but your Ford STA should be able to give you direction.

Where can I find the WSS-M99P9999-41 form? If anyone has one they would like to share I would be very delighted.

That document can be found in the 2006 RSMS package from Ford. The 2007 package should be coming out soon, they normally have it out by April. You can get this from your STA, or on the IMDS website, www.mdsystem.com
