One more thing came into my mind about this subject.
The QM position and value is also depend on the thinking and impression of the organization and as such, it very much depends on the way QM people communicate with the others.
It is a common problem, I saw several times, that some QM people may act like a policeman, and have no or minimal patient and can reflect to the others problem from an arrogant, no reason just listen and "do as I sad" way.
It also can undermine the evaluation of the QM department.
So not only the others are responsible, and yes, you shall be sure, you have open minded, solution oriented, team worker, knowledgeable QM guys on your board.
