QS-9000 Clause 4.9.g.1 - Preventive Maintenance - Tool Wear Predictive Maintenance

My question is how to address the third bullet under 4.9.g.1 "Tool Wear" Predictive Maintenance Methods ? I'm unclear on this issue. We of course have perishable tool change programs on all our machines.
