Dear colleagues,

I like to have your feedback and eventual approach on the QSB item: layered process audits.
Item 7.2 asked for an audit schedule on the shop floor showing the level of participation and frequency with an audit from the CEO quarterly!

How are you dealing within bigger production companies belonging to a group of companies and the CEO is not at that company.

Personally, I see the benefits for layered process audits but not up till the level of CEO

LPA in specific asked for additional procedures etc.
Is sombody of you willing to share his documents/procedure?

In that case I think that the procedure references to all the organization pyramid in mfg site.
I think that the partecipation in your layered process audit begins with shop floor personnel up to Operation mgr, at intermediate levels, you should involve supervisors of the production areas and production/engineering area mgrs, depending upon the roles and your organization chart.
The phylosophy of the activity is that all at each level should contribute to improve in complying with customer requirment and internal requirments.

Thank you but my question was in specific related to the CEO because this is in my opinion nice to have but not realistic

The response is that the participation should stop to the highest professional figure in the site .
It could be Site mgr or limit the participation to the Operation Mgr that should have the highest position in the organization chart per Production.
As alternative you may want to rotate as well and involve time by time all the representative of your top management.
it is claerly that if CEO is not present in thsi mfg site, he/she cannot participate but the delegation should be allowed.
