QSP-ENG-002 (D6-51991) BOEING DPD Requirements

M

McTROLOGY

I am being told by my Aerospace Clients that Boeing is not requiring all Sub Contractors to meet their DPD "Digital Product Definition Requirements" per QSP-ENG-002 / D6-51991.

Does anyone have experience with this requirement? If so could you point me in the right direction on how to meet and exceed these requirements?

Is there an official audit that mush be passed or an accreditation body that oversees this Quality System?

The accreditation body is not your registrar I believe. It would be Boeing or their sub contractor. I know when I was working for Pratt & Whitney we performed DPD audits at some of our suppliers. We had a checklist, but I don't have a copy of one.

The best place to start would of course be the Boeing Document. It may have a checklist in it.

Just my opinion.
