Quality and NGS

Greetings everyone,
I am new to the forum and to the field of quality as well. It has been only one year and something since I covered the role of QC Specialist for NGS products (reagents, not hardware).

Considering the lack of information and ISO guidance (I am only familiar with 9001 and 13485) when it comes to these products, I am worried I have hit the ceiling too early in terms of career progression. Is there something I can learn about, that can allow me to make a switch from the biotech industry to another type?

I am afraid the background knowledge is a decisive factor, paired with quality-specific knowledge, to be able to move cross-industry.
