Hi to all the Quality Gurus and professionals on this forum.
i have been reading many threads and discussions ever since i joined the group. however i have not participated much due to the level of knowledge that can be contributed.
The problem under discussion is QA setup and implementation in telecom operator. i was hired here 18 months ago. given as designation QA Manager (Processes). The top management who has control over budget is really not keen in investing in training and workshops / seminars. The output in telecom is voice call and data services. This is achieved through small BTS sites / towers and MSCs. All the rollout is performed by vendors. In our case its a chinese telecom vendor who itself has no QA setup. i am also not having any resources to control the quality in regional teams.
I have 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and 7 years overall in telcos. Had certifications for SS green belt and ISO 9001:2008 lead auditor. i made some documents like quality manual, checklists, process flows and CAPA,Documentation record / control manual. but this is mere documentation.
I just need your advise as to how can i work under the non supportive attitude and anti-quality attitude of colleagues who doesnot focus on quality and have interests in fast rollout and own technical matters
