My company plans to start printing QR Codes on the visible face of our products. The code would direct the scanner to a user manual, product certification, etc. Some codes would be printed onto existing labels, some would be laser etched into the product housing (plastic), some would be inked directly onto the product housing. The technology used for printing would be the same as for currently labeling.

- Scan it at the same distance from which users will scan it
- Data matrix code quality (IEC 15416):
- Symbol contrast
- Cell size
- Axial Non-uniformity
- Unused error correction
