Quality control in wood processing industry

Hello everyone,

I have recently chosen to do my master thesis in the department of quality in a wood industry. Unfortunately, i chose the topic but i dont have anyone (like supervisor or manager who is doing (quality control) in this industry, who can help me with my master thesis). Also, i dont have much idea to do it.

I am able yo find the defecgts and problems but i am unable to plan how to rectify these defects and how? Is there anyone who is having knowledge on quality control and could help me with my few questions?

I need some help and guidance here.
