Some years ago I made conscious decision to stop calling the system of SOP/WI/Forms a "Quality" system. The main reason is that the perception of non-quality professionals of anything with quality in it was my problem and not theirs. It was simply not part of the "normal" way of doing things in theirt through the initial roll out I found more buy in form other departments, etc. including upper management.
Were ever I am able,I change QMS to BMS since that is really the intent of ISO. A business management system to help in prove the methods of doing things and to put into place a more consistent way of doing things. And I object strenously to writing others' proceedures or work instructions. I will help to write or help to change them but the procedure/work instructions/forms belong to the department that uses them.
Ths approch seems to have made a distinct difference and made the "BMS" more relevant to the company.
