I
Hello,
I was trying to use the Average and Range method as described in the “Quantifying the Effects of Excessive Within-Part Variation” with one appraiser (because it’s an automated tester where the operator doesn’t interfere with the readings), 16 unit sample and two trials, in every trial each unit was tested twice so I have a minimum and maximum reading for each unit, in both trials.
I estimated the constants as follows: K1 = 0.87083, K3 =0.2770, I omitted the K2 since I don’t need to calculate the Reproducibility. I’d like to know if I’m correct about these estimations of K1 and K3.
The other thing that I’d like to know is how to calculate the “EVwiv“ term, used in the WIV calculation. Given the K1, I don’t see how to calculate the other term.
Thanks a lot, in advance.
