Thank you qusys
Excellent thought. You have clarified my doubt. I want to add some suggestion on process troubleshooting. I consider it as STATUS QUO maintaining tool not as continuous improvement tool. Nevertheless it complements process FMEA and as such they are two faces of a coin, as you mentioned.
Thanks a lot, Garibati.
I understand your point on process troubleshooting and I agree.
But I intend it at higher level, in the sense that if you put in place a virtuous circle ( strict link between FMEA-Control Plan-G8D or Problem solving), you can also improve to the reaction mechanisms on process and/or on product. If an organization learns from its mistake in a constructive way, it can also review/modify/optimize their own processes and also review the procedures ( in this case you mention , those related to trouble -shooting activities).
All this should be finalized into a continual process, in harmonic way, that could carry towards continuous improvement. My suggestion is a strong involvement of all personnel , expecially on shop floor, so that they can see these quality tool usefull to facilitate the job and not a burden for them. This is the strong step to do. However thank you for your words, glad to have been of your support.
