Could you clarify, please? Are you the prospective interviewer or are you the prospective candidate to be interviewed?
If candidate for an "executive" position (as opposed to high-functioning technical lab rat), then I would expect the candidate would be asked about experience in managing others and skills in interacting with various levels of employees, bosses, regulators, suppliers, and regulators.
The point in most interviews is that a candidate who has reached that level of the hiring process probably has the requisite education and technical skill for the position, but the major questions on an interviewer's mind will be on how well the candidate will fit into the organization without embarrassing the organization in interactions with outsiders (customers, suppliers, regulators) and how compatible he will be with the other employees and bosses.
