You could 'self declare' yourself to be compliant with ISO 9001 - whether anyone would regard that as having any value though is doubtful.

You cannot of course use a certification body's registration mark without their permission - just like many other logos.

Besides removing the phrases and logos, I would recommend that the customers were informed of the change. They would need to take that into consideration. :bigwave:

Why should you look down on them.
Everyone knows 9001 is no gaurantee of product or service quality.
registrars very rarely if ever look at product quality - only the systems - so paying stupid amounts of money for a bit of paper seems silly.
If the product is good it will sell itself - doesn't need parasites sucking the life out of the company.:agree1:

Well, perhaps some CB's auditors don't look at product quality but some do, and they should all be doing so. As for the product selling itself, sadly that doesn't always work - it may not be right but many suppliers simply don't get the chance to supply if they don't hold an ISO 9001 certificate - and a 'proper' one at that.
