Real World Continuous Improvement Examples for Accounting Personnel?

Okay, I admit it. I waited until the last minute to ask.
I searched for a real world example of a continuous improvement specifically for Accounting Personnel. I cannot find something simple for newbies.

Does anyone have an Accounting Dept improvement (simple please) that actually was implemented and documented on a CI form? That you could share with me for a ISO 9001:2008, 8.5.1 -Continual Improvement training class?

The class is today at 2pm PST.

I thought it would be easy to pull something off the internet or here in the Cove. But I'm coming up empty, did a lousy search, or both.

Can someone post something to share or PM me and I'll provide my work email.
