I've read it all now, people trying to justify rubbish cars with the fit for purpose slant! I've heard the old one about a Rolls Royce not being a 'quality' car for someone who cannot aford to run, while a cheaper car would be a more 'fit for purpose' car for them.
But yank cars are just 'Fit for the Scrap heap'! nothing else, nothing more.
