I didn't mean to start all this. The bloke i talked to was probably area/team manager or so, he's my auditors boss, not a secretary. I didn't make much out of it since he agreed that it might be better to get these expiry dates on them, but that this takes a major effort to change worldwide, as Randy stated. I you look into the texts in the guidance doc it still doesn't say you must have an expiry date. I do agree that it gives you the idea that it makes sense to have one on a certificate.
And to close this all of, I'm very happy with BSi as our certifier, they are thinking with us on a strategic level and aim at raising our quality standard with us.
