Dear community,
in the second amendment of IEC 60601-1 both IEC 60950-1:2005/AMD1:2009/AMD2:2013 is still referenced, but always together with IEC 62368-1:2018. But IEC 60950-1 is withdrawn by IEC and fully replaced by IEC 62368-1.
What does this dated reference to meanwhile withdrawn IEC 60950-1 mean for use of old or still in stock components like power supplies? Is ist still OK to use components which are compliant with the withdrawn IEC 60950-1? Or do they always have to be replaced by IEC 62368-1 compliant components?
