Registration in Mexico - Transfer of Mexican Device Registrations

Has anyone had experience with transfer of mexican device registrations? We currently have a distributor that we'd like to move away from. Do they have to sign-over the registrations or could we pursue new ones?

If you are changing your Authorized Distributor in Mexico there is a formal application procedure. I believe this is the page with applications:

You'll probably want to use your new distributor to help you with this application, or hire a consultant.
