They're not related. But some ISO 9000 requirements may be met with an ERP software package. But remember - ERP software usually is sold in modules so just because you have SAP (as an example) does not mean you have everything necessary. Nor will any specific module necessarily meet the requirements of that aspect of ISO 9001.

Example: Most ERP software 'solutions' include a nonconforming product (or defectives tracking) module. The module may not address aspects such as Corrective Action (not to mention '8-D' format and such). Bottom line is, you have to look at the module and its capabilities / features and assess what, if any, requirement of ISO9001 is addressed by the module.
