Remote office for Marketing - What do I need for the lone guy out there?

We have our main manufacturing site and a remote office for marketing. What do I need for the lone guy out there?
A separate Manual?
Or can I have 1 manual, stating what he does and hold records for his training?

My master manual is in electronic format (pdf). Numerous facility locations in the U.S. with a remote marketing office in the UK. This electronic master is available on our private intranet/internet.

This way I avoid having out-of-date hard copy manuals floating around everywhere. I am of the opinion that everyone in an organization (even marketing personnel) should have access to the manual. Those in marketing should have some information/understanding about your company's processes/procedures and possibly how they (marketing personnel) interact with these processes.
