Requirements for the identification and traceability of demo product for sales force

Any firm requirements for the identification of demo product for sales force? Specifically, these devices were rejected for failing lot-release testing, but are suitable for providing to sales team...

1) since they've already been scrapped, do i need to trace and track these devices?
2) do I label the device itself, the box, both? "DEMO" ? "NOT FOR HUMAN USE" ?

I would definitely label the devices "Not for human use" to ensure that there's no possibility of mixing one up.
