I do not know if this is the right forum but i would like to seek your help, comments and suggestions on this matter as am not so familiar on how other company do this.
I would like to know who is the person/department that would take responsibility in the network cabling, security camera, door lock access specially if this will form part of the facility.
Currently, the facility management is under Admin. My opinion is that all changes in the facility should be the resposbility of Admin and since they are the ones creating the renovation plan (electrical and communication plan and the likes) they should also take the lead for the data and other devices but with close coordination with the IT and security. However, despite best effort to explain this to the admin manager he doesnt seem to understand. He would always defend that if this is technical this should be under IT.
