Hello,
If we are using a certificated contract maintenance provider to off-load work or for potential emergancy situations and would like to consider the article overhauled after that work, what work do we need to do...? The contractor would be performing the dissasembly, cleaning, internal inspections, repairs, and reassembly, and final testing, but not final inspections.
Per regualtions, we are not allowed to RTS any article directly after contract maintenance. Our manual says that we will process the articles through the normal receiving process and won't RTS, but nothing further.
Is a final inspection of the article itself and their paperwork (work cards, teardown reports, final testing data, etc...) enough for us to call the article overhauled with our 8130-3 and then attach their 8130-3 as well?
