ello all,
thru the help of the cove i've been able to make some head way in updating my companies quality policy.
I came up with:
Premier Lubrication Systems, Inc.
Will exceed our employee and external customer needs.
Will provide the highest quality in our products and services.
Will continually improve in every aspect of our business.
I had a really hard time getting management to allow me to change it. This was presented to them with 3 other possibles and this is the one they picked. before i implement this any suggestions????thoughts???

If I audited you and you couldn't provide evidence of "exceeding" needs, "improving" in all business aspects and providing the "highest" quality you'd be eligible for a nonconformance for not meeting the committments in your policy.
You will be making promises that you will not be able to keep or prove. Your policy is an auditable document that sets your organizational feet in concrete. Your committments, and your policy as a whole are in fact objectives of a sort.......the fulfillment of your policy is a goal that you will be using your management system to meet........don't set yourself up for failure before you even get started.
