Rework and PPAP - When should we notify the customer?

I had a doubt which I thought the forum users will clarify for me.

Should we keep the customer updated on any rework that is done during bulk production because obviously the rework flow would not have been part of the original flow that was PPAP'ed.

Would appreciate comments.

If you have completed your control plan correctly then you have already informed your customer of the rework process. No other notification is \ required.
