In our organization, the CAA have given a finding where the material on the mill cert (SAE-AMS-4027N) does not match the drawing and the route card as SAE-QQ-A-250/11A. However, according to the IHS Standards store clearly states that spec SAE-QQ-A-250/11A has been superseded by SAE-AMS-4027N. Would this be a legitimate finding or does this revision need to be covered by an internal Engineering Bulletin with the Design Authority?
