Scheduling Internal Audits

I am sorry to post a question here instead of open a new thread. Our company is conducted the internal system audit twice a year. I am wondering if I can schedule plan the half of the process approach (4 out of 9 COP and 4 out of 9 SP) for the 1st audit and the other of the process approach to the 2nd audit?

You have to meet the requirement for status and importance, not worry about how much can be fitted in to a year. How do you meet this requirement today?

for the existing practice, we were conducting the full internal system audit 2 times in a year. The management process were well implementing the system.

You should maximize internal audit resources by scheduling audits based on the status and importance of processes and areas to be audited, as well as results of pervious audits. Processes that possess the lowest risk of deficiencies or nonconformities need not be audited every year. I usually write in the audit procedures that these low risk processes are audited once every 24 months. The Standard does not mandate a 12 month audit cycle only that you have a planned interval for performing these audits, hence why I use 24 months.

Thanks, base on your statement I can only perform the audit as your after I have review and revised my Internal audit procedure. My SOP say conduct internal audit twice a year.

So revise your procedure. Just make sure that whatever you end up doing is effective.

I'm not sure I understood your original question. If you are asking if your internal audit program can include doing both a process based internal audit and an elements of the standard based internal audit, the answer is yes you can. I'm not sure there is sufficient benefit in doing it that way though and that would be completely your decision.
