Please remember - When you need a standard, Please consider checking the Google and other advertisements as you browse the forums. There are several companies which sell standards who quite regularly advertise in the Google Ads. Even if you don't buy from them, click the link when you see it and check out the price. You may find it cheaper. Shop around. I have seen very big differences in prices and the product.
I remember shopping for ISO 9001:2000 in downloadable pdf format a few years ago. I think I got it from Standards of Australia or something similar. Well, the file was limited to 2 printouts or something. As I remember there was even a special 'validation' file you had to download and install. I had a Mac, the 'validation file' only worked on a MickeySoft OS system. Luckily I keep one of those as well. Had a printer problem with the PC and burned up the number of copies and never did end up with a printed copy from that file. I ended up going to Canadian Standards Association. It was cheaper to buy and there were no other files to download and their were no restrictions on the number of copies I could print (typically not a big problem, but if you have printer problems quite frustrating).
In fact, if you go to: http://Elsmar.com/iso9000.html , very near the bottom you will see: "CSA (Canadian Standards Association) = 416 747-4044
I get ALL my international specs from CSA. Good price, many disk files available, comprehensive. Ask them about their Plus series! They're really nice! ISO 9000 is ISO 9000 no matter what country you're in..."
Back then I linked to them because of the reasons cited.
