I did a few searches and didn't come up with anything. Maybe someone else has heard of it. It's a new one on me.

This is a GM "procedure". I couldn't find it on their SupplyPower website but did find it available (for $30 US) at https://global.ihs.com/ . BTW, this is a "Procedure for evaluating parting lines".
