Ran into an oddball situation the other day. We have brand spanking new Jet Melter Aluminum Furnaces. Apparently, these furnaces are internally self-calibrating according to their specs.

Do we get calibrated just to be safe? Opinions..... please!

we currently have a calibrated pyrometer to check the furnace readings on the exterior furnace gages.
