Service Parts Assembly Line and Scope of TS16949 Registration

We have an 1 assembly line left at one location and have no plans to move it, however, effective immediately it only supplies service parts and will only be ran maybe 2-3 times per year.

The question is, will it need to be part of the scope of our TS External audit or would it now be excluded since most likely it wouldn't be running during the audit...?

Thoughts...?:bigwave: All help is appreciated...!

We have exactly the same thing. The supply is still "live" even though it is only producing a fraction of the serial production volume. It does still need to one the scope and, if it is a remote location, you will need to check that it is noted correctly on the ISO/TS certification. Does the rest of the plant produce for OEMs or is this the only automotive product in that plant?

This is the only scope for this location other than support engineering. And thanks for your reply...!
