Do we need to RE-PPAP a service part after 2 years of not running it? . I know there is PPAP manual for Service PPAP, but if i get a waiver from my customer i am good to ship?

My automotive experience is admittedly dated, but when I was in that industry as a tier 1 supplier, the requirement was to re-submit a PPAP if production of a part had been idle for 12 months or longer. This included active as well as service parts.

Miner is correct, but it might be possible that if you can get a waiver from your customer, you are good.
But is has to be an official waiver, so documented.
