Sheets into a spreadsheet document control

Hello everyone

I have an issue about control of documents, Hope you can advise me.

I have a spreadsheet which have was numbered FOR-QUA-200, is a spreadsheet, now is in rev. 0, where are being registered non conformances.
Recently I had the need to separate different type of nonconformances, my first idea was to add a new sheet, named Cooper nonconformances, other new
sheet, plastic nonconformances and have the idea to add more; brass, stainless steel, etc.
But the existing code into the system for that electronic file is FOR-QUA-200, rev, 0, just one name.
But in that file there are sheets with different information.
Regarding the control of documents, how can I control changes into a sheet (e.g. cooper nonconformances) if this is not the name of main file?
Should I extract each sheet and create new files with names according to the QMS?
e.g. FOR-QUA-201 cooper nonconformances, FOR-QUA-202 Plastic Nonconformances, this controlling them individually?
Please share your thoughs.

Thanks

Product Nonconformity Spreadsheet (not for system or process nonconformities)

Why create separate sheets for each type of material when this could be a column in a single sheet?

Is the spreadsheet available only to you or a number of users? Can these users make or use unauthorized copies?

Forms (sheets) specify the data to be recorded for later use, so if you are changing the spec how do you prevent use of the superseded form?

By answering these questions you may find you do not need a time consuming extension of your document coding scheme. It could quickly become very complicated.

Because is needed to have the sheets separated , the point is how to control the change in each, since is daughter of the main file name.

If you have a controlled workbook and one or more of the sheets in it changes such that revision control must be invoked, change the revision level of the workbook.
