I know that usually APQP/PPAP lies in 8.3.4 and 8.5.1 but I notice that some companies (e.g. Rolls Royce) do have a "section 2" in their QM specifically for APQP/PPAP requirements. After all AS9145 is there for a reason. Thoughts?
There are so may ways to write a quality manual that I can't imagine there is a right or wrong way as long as people who need the information can find it.
