I disagree, I chose to be certified and I choose to do the very best I can every time.I already had the customers and did not require certification as they audited me prior to approval. As I said in another post no one remembers who got the silver medal. Every one remembers who got gold. If you want your business to be successful you have to be better than your competitor. The quality of service/product is critical in today's competitive environment, I personally took away all the local market share from a very respectable 17025 lab by doing what I said I would to the best of my abilities.

We are proud of you.
But I am sure you have not stopped at that in sense as reaching the pinnacle. I am sure you are looking around to see what competators are doing and what changes are happening in the business and industry, what are the new requirements, new technology., and so on. You are trying to be better always. You compete with yourself. This is what I meant as BEST is never constant. It is all about continual improvement.
