SPC on parallelism to the runout of a counterbore feature

we have a customer that is requesting spc on parallelism to the runout of a conterbore feature which they will control. As they are making the blanks.

We will be machining this on a cnc, if this helps.

A CMM is capable of performing the measurements you need. From there, the SPC I'd assume is pretty much standard. Unless there's something tricky you'd care to elaborate further on?

With parallelism, there is a likelihood that you will run into non-normal data since you have a natural limit of zero. You can still do SPC, but may have to get creative.
