Clause 7.2.17 calls for environmental conditions for transport and storage to be marked on the packaging (and I believe on the product label). The symbol is 5.11 of ISO 15223 (thermometer with the slash line indicating limits) and each limit will have the temperature.
Now, the question I have is what if there is a tiered limit on storage temperature for something that degrades with temperature? That is to say it can tolerate a higher storage temperature for a shorter period of time. In my case there are tiers for 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year with higher temperature limits allowed for the shorter period. How would something like this be applied with the symbol? Three horizontal lines for the upper temperature with the period in parenthesis?
