Suitable welding electrode and method of use

Dear all,
I do some engineering job such as provide preventive maintenance for heavy equipment.Now, one of my equipment has problem with crack failure.It's happen on bracket pin.FYI,the equipment is to handled logs.I need information about welding electrode and suitable method tobe use to weld the bracket

Check what type of metal your pin is made of, and If its rated from the job for the load you are placing on the pin. There are literally dozens of issue that could cause a pin to fail. you could try sending the pin to a metallurgical lab and having it tested to accurately tell you why the pin is failing
