[FONT=verdana, helvetica, sans-serif]Please I need some advice. I am in the process of collecting the evidence of our NCR in our Engineering Department. One of our NCR is variating our Supplier Evaluation Procedure according to the requirements of ISO 17020. Now, our MR gave up his job and this NCR is for almost one month pending. We are running out of time. [/FONT]

[FONT=verdana, helvetica, sans-serif]They ask me to revised our Supplier Evaluation procedure in ref. to 17020 Standard. I am new in this field and I am desperate. Please tell me what to do. I need to know the requirements of 17020 Standard regarding the mentioned procedure. I read the standard 10 times but couldnt really find that clause. Only, our Supplier Evaluation procedure is based on ISO 9001 Standard. I am now familiar with ISO 9001 but not 17020. [/FONT]

Am I right that your organization is accredited to ISO 17020 and that you are in inspection services? And you need to modify/improve you Supplier Evaluation Procedure because it was formulated for an ISO 9001 system?
