A supplier just subbmitted an initial PPAP. They are now moving and asking what I will require for the site move PPAP. What should I require for a site move PPAP, for a company that cuts and sews straps?
It depends. Are you the end customer, or do you also have customer PPAP requirements that must be dealt with? Is there anything in particular that concerns you about the effect that moving might have on the quality of the parts? Is the supplier going to use a process identical to the one that produced the parts for the original PPAP? Will the flow diagram,
PFMEA and/or control plan change?
I'm not asking you to answer all of these questions here, but they're questions you need to think about when deciding what the supplier's PPAP submission should include.
