# Taguchi mixed model DoE [L16 (4^3 2^6): factors interaction and ANOVA calculation

Hi All,

I am Haipan.

I am working with Taguchi DoE with L16 (4^3 2^6) experiment model.
I have done with Pareto ANOVA and get contribution percentage of each factors and preferred combination factors.

In addition, I also investigated the interaction between 2 factors and 3 factors by Minitab.

Ex: 2-way interaction of factors with 4 level each and 4 and 2 level of factors.
Factor A : 4 level (1 2 3 4)
Factor B : 4 level ( 1 2 3 4)
Factor C : 2 level (1 2)
Interaction: AxBxC
AxB
BxC
1. I found an interaction pattern for AxB interaction, but robustness pattern when reverse view (BxA).

Can anyone suggest me, what is that mean?

2. How to calculate Mean of AxB interaction for each factor level? as I need this data to calculate ANOVA (investigate contribution percentage)

Hi Dear
Using Minitab, please design your taguchi experiment by going to taguchi tab at Stat tab>DOE>taguchi>Creat taguchi design> defining the level and description
go to analysis tab>define results columns and get desire SNR and Mean
After that run ANOVA from same stat tab and select general linear model, Select SNR column and you will get the contribution of each factor after run analysis.
