Hello,
Here is a "common problem" most of us have been faced with in industry, as quality practionners : you have an audit and auditor report a finding that he has found a tape, a multimeter without calibration.
Cause is 2 folds :
I'm searching the exact sentence that should be put on the instrument ... something like : "NOT UNDER CALIBRATION PROGRAM" ... (Any suggestions BTW ?
) ...
But my REAL question is the following :
"Could I mention into the ISO calibration management program procedure that ONLY measuring instruments that are on the list of Quality Department are under calibration control - none of the others - and that the personnel use only calibrated instruments when they must take a measure for which treacability is of prime order" ?
How do you manage through this at your plant ?
Thank you !
