I am no expert on this matter at all. My little advice is that you keep your software knowledge at your finger tips. I believe that interviewer generally watch out for promptness, confidence and responsibility in interviewees.
Take out time to find out more or do a research on the company. Know what they are into, their strengths and weaknesses too. Give them reason to believe that you would be a huge asset to them, especially in terms of improving their weaknesses. That could be your selling point
Visit trending software websites and see & know what softwares are trending just so that they believe that you are up-to-date. That you are not a lazy person.
If you are asked a question that you don't have answers too. Cleverly find a way around it. You could be diplomatic about it but please don't look clueless.
I am just a young guy. Hope my simple suggestions help.
Wish you all the best!
