can you please help me and tell me how to write a quality manual, it will be great if you can provide some advices, exemples or templates.

Welcome to the Cove, blue rain! :bigwave:

There are several examples of quality manuals that have been posted in the Post Attachments List (the thin green bar in the upper left corner of this page), and much advice has been given in the forums here. All you have to do is a simple search and you will see many threads on this topic.

Scroll to the bottom of this page and you will find a link to QMS Implementation, it is a wealth of information!

After review you can come back with specific questions that are unclear to you.:)

Have you been tasked to write the QA Manual (QMS)?

Each QA Manual (QMS) is specifically written/designed for the Business/organization way of doing their business. There are canned manuals out there, and I believe there have been other similar/same requests here in the Cove.

There are a lot of steps to create, and develop a Quality Management System (QMS).

Try using the search function.

yes I have been tasked to write the quality manuel, thing that I never did before and I have to do it based on ISO 9001, and I don't know where to start, so I need some help on the way to do it the right way

There are some questions that I feel need to be answered to get an idea on your knowledge and skills to better assist you.

1. Do you have any experience in designing, developing and writing Quality Manuals or Quality Management Systems in accordance with International Standards?

2. Have you ever worked in the Quality Field?

3. How long have you been involved, in some way or another, in Business from a Quality point of view?

4. What are your present responsibilities?

5. Do you have experience in writing as a whole?

First you do some research, which you stared by coming here.
Having the ISO9001 standard would probably help too.
Then you need a word processor like MS Word into which you type the contents of the manual.
I suppose you could do it on a typewriter or by longhand, but I have to assume you have a computer since you posted here.

There is no right way or wrong way to do this. What is important is that you address the requirements of the standard within your system. Look at some of the examples that have been posted here, but, a word of warning - don't try to use someone else's quality manual. No two companies are run the same, and an effective system is written around the company.

As any good author would suggest, start with an outline of the basic requirements as they fit into your business organization. Probably the best advice when it comes to publishing a QMS is do no try to fit everything into the manual itself.

Your manual should address all required elements, however, it can call upon lower tier procedures. Not only does this keep your QM from getting overly wordy and convoluted, it also keeps you from having to issue constant revisions.

ISO 9k will tell you what elements need to be covered in the QM, however, it is up to you to document how your company addresses those requirements. I.E. how do you handle customer complaints, how does your document control system function, what metrics do you measure when assessing your QMS...etc. If your company is already firmly established there should be procedures in place, etc which you can refer to in your QM.
