Jennifer got it right...initially forget the 13485 and other, you need to take of the OSHA issues 1st...

Next, it's not the training they need related to 13485, it's what competencies are required of the job and can the temps demonstate effective achievement of them?

If not,then you need to use training, "or any other means" to help employees achieve the competency requirements.

Training isn't the goal you need to seek, it's competency....Read the Standard again.

While they may be unloaders and drivers, what do they do if they encounter NC product, as in a torn packaging or contamination of the product. While I'm no 13485 expert, at very minimum they need to be trained in these issues.

Also, kind of like the old luggage commercial where they had a monkey sling it around. What about the type of product? For instance, have someone not familiar with honed hydraulic cylinder tube put thier forkift blade on the inside diameter to unload it...ok, not medical device, but you get the idea.

You also need to see IAF MD5 on how temporary workers are handled.

Oh, yes. If you use a temp agency, push the training requirements, including records on them.
