Tensile Test Strain Rate - Impact on the Test Results

Good Morning,
I am hoping to get a little insight and possibly that links to some articles.

If a standard calls out a tensile strain rate of 20mm/min/mm would there be a impact on the test results if you used a rate of 20"/min?

In my mind i feel like going faster or slower would definitely effect that results. If anyone could provide some insight or direct me to some articles to better educate myself it would be much appreciated.

The magnitude of the influence is dependent on the material and the test, but the test speed definitely impacts the test results.

As Miner stated the magnitude of the influence is dependent on the material and the test, (e.g: for hard drawn copper wire testing with lower speed 50 mm/min) while annealed cooper wire 100 mm/min) I hope this help.
