However, I can't agree with you on the bacon thing. Most of the bacon I get served in the USA is so crispy it explodes like a fragmentation bomb and flies off the plate:mg: Indeed, some form of protection should be worn to avoid injury from flying shards of pig......:mg:
Real bacon behaves like meat, not an explosive device..

Here, we have a huge British influence on our foods. After all, the English did settle here abouts 400 years ago. But, for the most part, we've been able to overcome that, too. All except for the crazy use of vinegar on french fries. What's up with that?
